Calling Denbighshire families – it’s time to get on your bike

Denbighshire County Council has teamed up with One Planet Adventure at Coed Llandegla to provide free family sessions to encourage local families to get active and cycle together.

Families will be given the chance to ride some of the Coed Llandegla trails, learn how to use the brakes, tackle up hill and downhills and select the right gear, giving you confidence to ride together as a family. The sessions will be available on the 14, 15 and 16 of February.

Limited places are available and will be given on a first come first serve basis. The course is free of charge, funded by grants secured by the local authority. Two sessions will be held, 9:30-12:30pm and 13:30-16:30pm.

In return for this amazing experience participants are asked to write a 100 words or so about their ride which may be used in future publications. Permission is sought for photographs to be taken. Each group will be limited to five, one of which needs to be an adult, and therefore your family may share a session. Participants must be residents of Denbighshire.
