There is further good news for motorists in Denbighshire.
Members of the Ruthin Member Area Group have decided to use some of the funding available to them to subsidise parking charges at the Park Road car park for the whole of December. This means that residents and visitors can park for free at this car park during the month.
County councillors from the Denbigh Member Area Group have also decided to offer free parking in the lower tier of the multi-storey car park in Denbigh from the 1st of December until the end of March 2012.
These schemes are in addition to the county-wide scheme currently running after Denbighshire County Council announced that parking was free after 3pm in every Council-owned car park until 31 December.
All of these schemes are part of efforts to encourage more people to visit town centres across the county in the run-up to Christmas and New Year.
