Children from primary schools around the borough will perform a series of mini carol concerts at Bridgend County Borough Council’s Customer Service Centre in Angel Street throughout December.
Following on from the success of last year’s performance by Tremains Junior School, all primary schools were invited to come and sing in the centre as part of the council’s Christmas celebrations.
The Customer Service Centre deals with over 100 customers every day, as well as many visitors. They will be able to watch and listen to the choirs on the following dates:
- 8 December (10.30am) Brackla Primary.
- 9 December (10.30am) Tremains Primary.
- 11 December (10.am) West Park Primary.
- 14 December (1.30pm) Llangewydd Juniors.
- 16 December (1.30pm) Ffaldau Primary.
- 17 December (10.30am) Plasnewydd Primary.
- 21 December (10am) Tondu Primary.
Councillor Alana Davies, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: “Last year the carols created a lovely festive atmosphere in the centre and the children’s singing was wonderful.
“The pupils from Tremains did an excellent job in wishing visitors to Civic Offices a very merry Christmas and I’m sure this year’s performances will do just the same.”
