The award of almost £5,000 for a Church Council in Bryneglwys from the Big Lottery Fund has been welcomed by their local Assembly Member.
Bryneglwys Saint Tysilio Parochial Church Council has been awarded nearly £5,000 to refurbish the kitchen of the Church so that community groups can use the facilities. The Council received their award under the Big Lottery Fund’s small grants programme, ‘Awards For All’.
Commenting on the award, Assembly Member for Clwyd West Darren Millar said:
“This is great news for the Bryneglwys Saint Tysilio Parochial Church Council and is well deserved.
“I am sure the award of this money from the Big Lottery Fund will make a significant difference to the local community.
“My warm congratulations to all those who have worked hard to ensure a successful bid.”
