Cast your vote on Assembly powers

A referendum on the law-making powers of the National Assembly for Wales will be held on Thursday 3 March.

The National Assembly for Wales represents the people of Wales and takes decisions and makes laws that affect you.

So, have your say on 3 March and make sure you cast your vote at your local polling station, either in favour of the proposals or against.

However, some polling stations have changed since the last election. The work at Sardis Chapel, Varteg has been completed, so if you normally vote there you need to, instead of going to Millennium Hall in Garndiffaith.

The following changes have also been made:

In Penygarn, vote at Penygarn Neighbourhood Learning Centre; In Oakfield, vote at Our Lady of the Angels RC Primary School; In Upper Cwmbran, vote at West Pontnewydd Community Centre; In Hollybush, vote at Nant Celyn Primary School.

In addition, people who have previously voted at Henllys Junior School for Henllys Community Council will now use Henllys Village Hall. People voting for Fairwater and Oaksford Community Council will continue to vote at Henllys Junior School.

If you have recently moved or need to register to vote, you have to do so before 16 February. The closing date for postal vote applications is 16 February and for proxy voting it is 23 February.
