Dinefwr Literature Festival has announced that Welsh singer-songwriter Cate Le Bon is to play this year’s festival in the stunning surroundings of Dinefwr Park and Castle in the heart of the Carmarthenshire countryside this summer. The 2014 festival will run from Friday 20 – Sunday 22 June.
This is currently her only planned gig in Wales ahead of her UK tour this autumn and follows recent sell-out shows in London and Cardiff.
Cate Le Bon joins a music line-up that includes Charlotte Church, Trwbador, the Alex Dingley Band, and Plu in an eclectic programme that features national and international writers, award-winning poets and emerging English and Welsh literary talent, along with ground-breaking comedy, art, cinema, cabaret and creative activities for children.
Earlybird tickets, priced £45, are only available until Friday 28 February, after which they will be £65. Day Tickets for Saturday are on sale from 1 March and start at £30 for adults and £5 for children.
