Come and elebrate St David’s Day at RWCMD with the Cardiff premiere of The Wizard, The Goat And The Man Who Won The War, a play based on the extraordinary life of the ‘Welsh Wizard’ David Lloyd George.
Coalition government…political scandal… David Lloyd George took it in his stride and still found time for a colourful personal life. The Welsh Wizard was a giant of 20th Century global politics, yet the nation remains divided about him. Writer/ director D.J.Britton and BAFTA-winning actor Richard Elfyn have created an exhilarating solo performance, finding mystery, charm, poetry and much humour in Lloyd George’s extraordinary life.

Our St David’s Day Concert, in the Dora Stoutzker Hall at 7.15pm, features songs and instrumental music to celebrate the masters of Welsh music including Dilys Elwyn Edwards, Meirion Williams, Mansel Thomas plus works for wind and brass on Welsh themes by two of our young composers.
