A charity book fayre will take place on Monday, November 30 at the civic offices of Bridgend County Borough Council in Angel Street, Bridgend.
The book fayre has been organised by Mayor of Bridgend County Borough, Councillor Jefferson Tildesley, and will be open for members of the public to pick up a bargain between 10am-4pm on both days.
Mayor Councillor Jefferson Tildesley said: “I am an avid reader myself, so this seems the perfect way to raise money for our chosen charities while also encouraging people in the borough to enjoy a good book. I hope to see many people browsing the selection on offer – I know I will be.”
Offering new and nearly new books, the fayre will raise funds for the 2009/10 mayoral charities -Yellow Wales, Glaze Prostate Charity Wales and The Stroke Association.
