Performing the music will be local Welsh choirs Women in Harmony and VoiceMale, who will be led by musical director Kelvin Thomas and accompanist Graeme Hunter.
Tickets cost £8.50 and can be purchased via the deputy Lord Mayor Cllr Jayne Cowan on 029 2062 7757 or email [email protected]. The ticket price includes quirky light refreshments. Monies raised from the tickets will go to Cancer Research Wales.
VoiceMale have a particular link to Cardiff as the choir was formed at Cardiff Council. Council officers Phil Belcher and Jason Rowlands formed the choir in 2009 and began practicing after work in a Council meeting room. The choir continues to grow with other Council staff, friends and relatives joining. The ensemble has developed and have given many performances usually alongside their sister ensemble Women in Harmony.
