Christmas is on the horizon and where better to find that special gift than at Oriel Ynys Môn.
The Fair will be held between November 13 and midday on December 24, 2010. The Fair will officially open on Friday evening, November 12, 2010 at 7pm where there will be a warm welcome to all including a complimentary glass of wine.
This year will see the Art Gallery hosting ‘Totally Textiles’ – an exhibition providing a feast of traditional and contemporary textiles by some of Wales’ leading textile artists. Textile works will range from jewellery and clothing to soft furnishings and more – all made by well known artists including Maude Telastuo, Dorothy Russell and Jenny Oliver to name but a few.
To coincide with the exhibition a textiles workshop with Gwenfai Rees Griffiths will be held on December 11, 2010. The workshop is open to beginners and those with experience – booking for this workshop is essential.
The Jac Do Craft Fair will also be a hive of activity with a superb range of new and innovative craftwork from around 60 leading crafts men and women. With an array of gifts ranging from jewellery, woodwork and pottery to textiles and local produce – there will be something to suit everyone’s taste.
Blas Mwy Café will also be open daily serving a delicious range of homemade delicacies including a special Christmas menu.
