Everyone is invited to come along to the first Wepre Park Christmas Fayre on Sunday 2 December from 11am to 3pm at the Wepre Park Visitor Centre, Connah’s Quay.
Get ahead with your Christmas shopping with a lovely range of locally produced handmade gifts including:
- Wooden bowls and other things from the local wood turners
- Take and Bake it – Cookie mixes to bake at home
- Handmade jewellery
- Wooden toys – a lovely selection of toys to last a lifetime
- Sweet Stall – all the old fashioned favourites.
Councillor Peter Macfarlane, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Enterprise and Leisure, said:
“We’re really excited about our first ever Wepre Park Christmas Fayre. The Fayre is being organised by the Friends of Wepre Park and Flintshire Countryside Service, and I’d urge everyone to come along and join the fun – and get some Christmas shopping done at the same time!”
You can also join us to make beautiful natural decorations for your home and our Visitor Centre. Our younger visitors are welcome to drop in and make a lovely Christmas decoration to take home or help us make paper chains and snowflakes to decorate the centre. Booking is essential for the decoration making workshops.

The sessions available are: 11am to 12 midday, 12 midday to 1pm, 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
