Each year, through the generous support of local businesses and individuals, the council’s Children’s Services team seeks to provide presents to children in the Vale of Glamorgan who might otherwise receive very little for Christmas.
Working in partnership with volunteers from Coastlands Family Church 160 children and young people received Christmas presents and selection boxes last year, and 42 food hampers were provided to young people leaving care and families in need.
With your support, we hope to make Christmas a happier time for even more local children and families this year.
If you can help, please take your donations of food or presents to the collection point which has been set up in the reception area at the Civic Offices, Holton Road, Barry. Presents are for children aged 0-17, and must be new and unwrapped. The collection point will be open from today until Friday 10th December
