Wayne Warlow’s Manhattan Experience will be performing classic jazz standards from the Great American Songbook in council-run Bryngarw Country Park in Brynmenyn, Bridgend, this Sunday 22 August from 2.30pm – 4.30pm. The final performance in our summer Music in the Park programme, enjoy the best American 1920s to 1960s jazz songs from Broadway and Hollywood musicals.
Organised by Bridgend County Borough Council’s Arts and Community Development, the band will perform on the lawn in front of Bryngarw House, providing a unique opportunity to mix first rate live music with the exceptionally beautiful surroundings of the country park.
Admission is free and car parking £2. Please note that there is no wet weather cover or seating provided, but you are welcome to bring your own chairs or picnic rugs. Don’t know how to keep your children occupied this summer? Visit one of our Family Fun Days in Bryngarw Country Park running every Wednesday until 25 August from 11am – 3pm. For children aged seven – 11, children can take part in scavenger hunts and trails, craft workshops, face painting and lots more. Admission is £2 and car parking £2.
