North Wales Police were called to Llanbadraig, near Cemaes Bay, Anglesey, after a 73 year old woman fell from cliffs at around 3pm yesterday (Monday February 21).
The coastguard from Holyhead co-ordinated the operation and called out the Sea King helicopter from RAF Valley.
The woman, who was from the Wirral was airlifted to Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor where she was pronounced dead.
The coroner has been informed and family members have been notified.
There is no further information available at this time.
