Cloning Device Found on Cash Machine in Ebbw Vale

Members of the public are being urged to be vigilant when using cash machines.

It comes after a card cloning device was found at an ATM at Morrisons Supermarket on Bryn Serth Road in Ebbw Vale. It was noticed by security staff there today. Officers have now recovered the device and enquiries are ongoing.

People are being advised not to use such machines if they have suspicions that they may have been tampered with. It could result in criminals obtaining your card details and using this data for fraudulent activity. If anyone has any concerns about their card being cloned they should contact their bank directly.
