Bargoed residents can talk to their local ward officers over a cup of tea or coffee, at upcoming police surgeries.
Police surgeries enable residents to drop and speak to their ward officers about any local issues or concerns.
In November, Bargoed neighbourhood police officers along with local councillors and council wardens met over 100 residents on the High Street, outside Young at Heart during ‘Not In My Neighbourhood’ week. They spoke to residents and completed over 75 surveys on community issues, to feed into the PACT (Partnerships and Communities Together) process.
Ward Officer for Bargoed, PC Tola Munro, said:
“We want to build on the great response we had from the people of Bargoed. My colleagues and I will be available to discuss any policing issues faced by residents, businesses and visitors to Bargoed. Pop into Young at Heart, near the Spar while you are out shopping and have a chat with us over a cup of tea or coffee.”
The next surgery will be held on Thursday 17th December at 11am, at Young at Heart. The following surgeries will be held on Tuesday 12th January, Tuesday 2nd February, Tuesday 16th March and Tuesday 13th March. Each surgery starts at 11am and lasts for approximately an hour.
If you would like to speak to the Bargoed ward officers, but are unable to attend the surgery, you can also contact the team on 02920 857 455.
