‘Put a smile on your mug and help Macmillan Cancer Support!’ – that’s what Coleg Gwent’s students and staff are hoping to do when they take part in this year’s World’s biggest coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday 24 September.
Catering staff and students will be providing visitors with cakes, biscuits and hot drinks for a donation to the charity at Morels Restaurant, Coleg Gwent’s Crosskeys Campus from 10-11.30am.
Catering lecturer Caroline Davies has run the event for the past two years, she said: “Over the last few years we have raised about £350 for the charity. We look forward to welcoming visitors to this years’ coffee morning. Come along and treat yourself, or get together with friends and colleagues over a coffee whilst raising money for Macmillan.”
