The work of a Colwyn Bay money advice centre has been applauded in the Senedd by Clwyd West AM Darren Millar.
Darren referred to Antioch Money Advice Centre, which is based in Capel Salem in Colwyn Bay, when questioning the Deputy Minister for Tackling Poverty Minister on Welsh Government support for churches and faith groups offering money and debt advice services.
He said:
“Will you congratulate faith-based organisations, such as churches, which offer money and debt advice services across my constituency, particularly the Antioch money advice centre, which is based in Capel Salem in Colwyn Bay? It has been operating for a number of years now, and it has provided free unconditional advice and support to people in need.”
Darren asked the Minister what is being done to expand opportunities for churches and faith groups to offer and extend more of these services in the future.
