Jeff Cuthbert AM took part in the “Walk for Life” to raise funds for Kidney Wales Foundation on Sunday 27 March.
The walk was from Ystrad Mynach College to Heollddu Youth Wing in Bargoed and there were more than 100 walks being held across Wales. Money raised from the Walk for Life is used to make a difference to children and adults in Wales who suffer with kidney disease and renal failure.
Jeff Cuthbert AM said:
“I was delighted to take part in this walk once again to raise money to support this organisation. Although the largely uphill walk was difficult, even I had to find my second wind towards the end, there was no doubting the commitment and spirit of all those that took part.
“I congratulated the main organiser, Lynn Matthews, and her team for all the effort put in to ensuring a safe walk and raising a lot of money, which is yet to be counted.”
