A local schoolboy from Ysgol Llanddulas has been selected from hundreds of entries to win a competition to design a Christmas card.
Children from primary schools across Conwy and Denbighshire took part in a competition to design an official Christmas card for Clwyd West Assembly Member Darren Millar.
There was an early Christmas present for the winner, Daniel Lewis Jones, aged 9. Daniel, a pupil at Ysgol Llandullas, designed a card showing a picture of Rudolph which was selected as the winner from hundreds of entries. Daniel’s picture has now been printed as Darren’s official Christmas card.
Darren said:
‘I was staggered at the high standard of all the competition entries and am delighted so many children took part. Choosing the winner of the competition was very tough and I congratulate everyone who sent in their picture.
‘Daniel’s picture is a real Christmas cracker. His picture of Rudolph will now be made into my official Christmas card and will shortly be sent out across the local area.’
