Following on from the success of the Flintshire Connects Centre at Holywell, Flintshire County Council is pleased to announce the opening of a second Flintshire Connects Centre in Flint.
Customers will be able to access information and key County Council services including housing, Streetscene, welfare benefits and advice, Blue Badges, Concessionary Travel and Council Tax.
In addition to County Council services, Jobcentre Plus and North Wales Police remain key partners in the Connects Programme delivering joined-up public services to local residents in a modern and welcoming environment.
Flintshire County Council and Jobcentre Plus are already located in the centre and are open for business. The centre is open 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12 noon on Saturday.
North Wales Police are scheduled to move in during the late spring and on Fridays of each week will hold policing surgeries between 10am – 12 noon and will trial a front counter service in the afternoon.
A new self service payment machine has also been installed which will enable payment of any County Council account and will enable members of both the Flintshire Credit Union and the North Wales Credit Union to make payments. Flintshire Connects Customer Service Advisors will be on hand to assist customers use these new machines.
The new Flintshire Connects Flint is located on the ground floor of County Offices and is accessible from Church Street, directly opposite from the Library.
