Commenting on figures released yesterday showing that Conwy and Denbighshire have the fastest ambulance response times in Wales, Darren Millar AM said:
“These figures are encouraging and the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust should be congratulated.
“75.6% of emergency responses in Conwy arrived within in eight minutes and 78.8% in Denbighshire. Both Conwy and Denbighshire are well above the 60% target which has been set.
“North Wales as a whole has continued to maintain performance around the 95% mark, which is welcome. We need to ensure that the results of the ongoing health reviews in North Wales do not impact local ambulance response times in the future.”
