Theatre bosses are urging people who bought tickets between 11 and 24 November 2010 for any show at Venue Cymru, Llandudno to phone the box office.
Theatre Manager, Sarah Ecob said, “A problem with our IT during that week means that some seats have been double booked. We don’t want anyone to miss seeing eagerly anticipated shows. We’re asking people to get in touch as soon as possible so that, if necessary, we can issue new tickets.”
The problem was caused when the box office server failed and unfortunately some of the back-up information was also corrupted. Venue Cymru has been working closely with the ticketing system provider to ensure that such an incident cannot be repeated.
If you booked tickets during this period please contact the box office on 01492 872000, with your tickets to hand, in order that we can confirm your tickets are still on the system or offer you alternative seats. Alternatively, please e-mail [email protected] with details of the tickets booked and your account number (top right hand side of the ticket).
They would like to apologise to all their customers for the inconvenience caused by this system failure and thank everyone for their patience and assistance in helping them resolve the issues raised.
