Would you like to join the growing number of people from across Caerphilly county borough that are working with the police, council and other organisations to help reduce levels of crime and anti-social behaviour by becoming a volunteer Community Crime Fighter?
To date over 2000 local community activists from across England and Wales have taken part in Community Crime Fighter training, with more than 70 of these coming from within the Caerphilly county borough.
Residents will be given another opportunity to attend a training session, which will equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to help develop stronger links between crime-fighting agencies in Caerphilly county borough and the communities they serve.
The Community Crime Fighters autumn road show is coming to Cardiff on Thursday 5th November, beginning at 9.30am and will be finished by 4pm. It is free to attend and lunch and refreshments will be provided. Help is also available with travel costs if required.
If you work alongside the local police, council or housing association, and are interested in helping to make sure the local community continues to be a safe place to live, why not come along and take part in the forthcoming training event this autumn?

The Community Crime Fighters training provides an opportunity to learn:
- What the Policing Pledge means locally
- The tools and powers local authorities are using to tackle anti-social behaviour and crime
- The help provided to victims and witnesses of crime and anti-social behaviour
- Ways to get the best out of local crime fighting agencies
