Council calls on Monmouthshire people to take part in event to improve county

People in Monmouthshire are being asked to attend an event that aims to discover of what people want to see changed about the places they live and work.

‘Your places your way’ will give residents  a chance to talk to Monmouthshire Council officers about the matters that concern Monmouthshire people.

The council says that this event is a new kind of conversation between council officers and people of Monmouthshire.  The event will be an open space session. That means the attendees get to decide what they want to talk about, so what matters to them is what the agenda will be. At the end all delegates will decide together what the most important points from the conversation are to take forward.

The event takes place at Castle Park Primary School on Saturday March 3rd from 9.30am – 4pm.  Refreshments will be provided.

Attendees need to register their place at: http://yourplacesyourway.eventbrite.com/
