Monmouthshire County Council will host an event on Wednesday, 21st May in Chepstow showcasing the many sustainability projects led by the area’s community groups.
Taking place at the town’s Drill Hall from 1pm to 4.30pm the afternoon will feature short discussions on minimising the amount of waste going to landfill, fostering an environment for bees and other pollinators, encouraging wildlife, cooperation and the way forward for local environmental groups, growing food at home and how simple lifestyle changes can cut energy bill costs.
Among the organisations taking part will be Transition Monmouth, Bron Afon Community Housing, Bee Friendly Monmouthshire, Gwent Wildlife Trust, Cynnal Cymru and the Garnsychan Partnership as well as Monmouthshire and Torfaen councils.
