Join the Mayor of Neath Port Talbot Cllr Lella James for this year’s switching on of the Christmas lights on Friday 12th November in Port Talbot Civic Square.
Swansea Sound and The Wave will be entertaining the crowds from 5pm hosted by Kevin Johns MBE with help from local children singing traditional Carols.
On Saturday, 13th November Port Talbot welcomes Father Christmas to Port Talbot. Swansea Sound and The Wave will once again be on hand to provide music and entertainment in the Civic Square from1pm.
Santa’s magical Christmas parade starts at 1.30pm from the Railway Station, up Station Road to the Civic Square for 2pm when Father Christmas will say hello to the children from the stage.
He will then be resident in his brand new Grotto in the Aberavon Shopping Centre (admission £3). There will also be a seasonal craft fair in the Princess Royal Theatre from 10am.
Letters to Santa can be posted in Port Talbot in the following libraries: Port Talbot, Sandfields, Cwmafan, Baglan, Cymmer, Blaengwynfi and Taibach until the 4th December.
Remember! Santa will reply to all letters provided names and addresses are clearly marked.
