Police in Cardiff are investigating a series of incidents where a number of dozen cars parked on streets in Roath have had their cars scratched.
The motor vehicles parked on Carlisle Street were damaged late evening on Monday 28th July.
Police are appealing for witnesses or any information regarding these incidents.
PC Mike Neate from the Neighbourhood Policing Team in Roath said: “We are keen to speak to an man who was seen in the area at the time of these incidents, he is described between 5ft7-5ft10 in height, stocky build, wearing a dark blue and white chequered shirt and a grey beanie hat.
“Incidents such as these are very unusual and we will be doing all we can to bring whoever was responsible to justice.
“Mindless vandalism caused to vehicles at night is a great cause for concern and officers are continuing to patrol the areas in order to prevent and detect further offences. If anyone sees someone behaving in an unusual or suspicious manner they should contact the police immediately.”
