Police Constable Michael Thomas from Usk Neighbourhood Policing Team is asking members of the public to join him for a cuppa during the Usk Christmas Festival which is due to take place the weekend of Saturday 11th December.
PC Thomas is eager to hear what issues people in the town would like to see addressed. He will be based on the mobile police station which will be in the town square throughout the festival to introduce himself and chat to local people. Usk Neighbourhood Policing Team will also be using a red double decker London bus as a base for the weekend thanks to the Raglan based company Londonbus4hire who have loaned the Neighbourhood Policing Team the bus free of charge.
Anyone who sits down for a chat with PC Thomas will receive a free hot beverage and a biscuit!
PC Thomas said: “Neighbourhood Policing is all about listening to what the public have to say and responding to their needs, so this is the perfect opportunity for anyone who has an issue to come and speak to me directly in a relaxed environment.”
