Cycling and Tourism – Is your business in gear to take up the challenge?

A series of events to help businesses to get the most of out the fantastic mountain biking offer in north east Wales will be held in March. With the mountain biking sector being worth over £24 million pounds to Wales every year, it is certainly worth knowing about. The events are free of charge and have been funded through the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government.

The programme includes information about up and coming developments, benefits to tourism businesses, examples of what works from elsewhere and developing transport links to businesses. Guest speaker Graeme McLean, Project Manager with Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland, will be sharing his experience about what works and where the sector is going to in the future. Businesses will also be given the opportunity to promote their activities and share information.

The event will be held on three consecutive days (10:30-3pm, tea/coffee served from 10am):
13 March – Treetops, Betws y Coed
14 March – Rhyl Community Centre Wellington Road
15 March – Llangollen Pavilion, Llangollen
