Newgale is a three mile stretch of beach in Pembrokeshire, Wales backed by a large pebble wall as defence against the high tides. Popular with holiday makers, windsurfers, surfers and canoeists throughout the summer months.

There are two caravan parks, a camping site, some shops, a pub and a garage along the front and a hair-raising coastal path winds up and down the cliffs. In terms of surf it’s good for beginners, the waves usually back off a bit even on large swell. It’s best on the rising tide and has brilliant rugged coastal scenery. The beach is a favorite place for the local people who promenade on Boxing day.
