Biosciences and Tower Building, Cardiff
The Biosciences and Tower Buildings. The relaxation of the city authorities of the four storeys maximum rule in Cathays Park, designed to ensure no buildings overshadowed City Hall, Cardiff, led to the building in the 1960s of the Cardiff University biosciences building, the seven storey “pre clinical building” and, in 1967, the twelve storey Tower building. In 2004 the new six-storey Life Sciences building was completed. [mappress mapid=”66″]
