The Kingsway Shopping Centre is the principal under-cover shopping centre in the city of Newport, Wales. It is has several levels and includes a range of high street shops and privately-owned boutiques. It is also home to the city’s museum, art gallery and Newport Central library. The northern entrance is on John Frost Square, a Germanic-style shopping square.
The centre underwent a refurbishment and extension during 2007 and 2008, in conjunction with the new Friars Walk mall with the centre remaining open during the refurbishment.
