Characters from S4C’s nursery service, Cyw, will visit twelve magical locations across Wales through November and December as part of a special Christmas Show.
When Santa Claus is taken ill, the fate of Christmas is suddenly on the line. In his hour of need, he turns to a number of S4C’s children’s favourites – including Sali Mali, Jac y Jwc, Rapsgaliwn, Tigi, Huwi Stomp, and Cyw presenters Rachael and Trystan. This leads to a magical live show of laughter, singing, dancing and rapping!
Siân Eirian, S4C’s Head of Children Services, says: “S4C’s pre-school service Cyw has enjoyed an exciting year – extending the provision to the weekends, launching a Cyw app, welcoming new presenters and programmes and being nominated for Channel of the Year at this year’s BAFTA Kids UK Awards. The Christmas Tour is a pinnacle of all the hard work and I’m sure this will be a unique experience for our younger viewers who’ll have the opportunity to see some of their favourite characters in a live show.”
