Pembrokeshire dancers stepped their way to success at a recent competition.
Pupils from the Pembrokeshire Leisure School of Dance took home 250 awards in the annual Fun Dance Bonanza held over the Bank holiday weekend in Minehead.
Among the winners was Kirsty Skocezk of Haverfordwest, who was the competition’s overall winner.
Kirsty won the overall Disco trophy for up and coming dancer and with her partner Jordan Harding won the Two Dance Latin event for Junior/Youth.
The pair also came third in the Roger Cole Memorial Latin trophy event for Junior/Youth couples. The event was won by Emma Hart and Gaynor Jeffries of Milford Haven with Dylan Allen and Ellie Jenkins of Milford Haven second and Kayla Hunt and Emily Lloyd, also of Milford Haven, fourth.
Meanwhile Niamh Roach of Haverfordwest won the overall modern sequence award and Emma Hart and Gaynor Jeffries of Milford Haven came second in the Two Dance Latin event for Junior/Youth. Dylan Allen and Ellie Jenkins came fourth and Kayla Hunt and Emily Lloyd sixth.
In the under 11 years pairs for the Roger Cole Memorial Latin trophy, Owen John and Kaitlynne Cutajar of Milford Haven were second, Saskia Jones and Lucy Phillips of Haverfordwest third and Niamh Roach and Tanwen James of Haverfordwest fourth.
In the One Dance Latin event under 11 years pairs, Saskia Jones and Lucy Phillips came second, Lucy Harding and Chloe Evans of Haverfordwest third and Owen John and Kaitlynne Cutajar, fifth.
Linda Hart and Lisa Evans of Milford Haven came second in the Dorothy Cole Memorial adult sequence with Nelum Withanage and Catrin Jones of Milford Haven fifth and Terry and Ann Dobson of Haverfordwest sixth.
The Pembrokeshire Leisure School of dance won the Disco teams events.
Classes in all sections of dance are held at Milford Haven, Haverfordwest, Fishguard and Pembroke leisure centres.
