Commenting on the latest ambulance response time figures published today, Shadow Health Minister Andrew RT Davies AM said:
“The failure to hit emergency response times is unacceptable.
“Yet again, Assembly Government measures to address this problem have not been sufficient.
“Despite her assurances that she would ensure that the performance of the service would be improved, the Health Minister has failed to work effectively with trust bosses to turn this situation around.
“If it were not for the hard work and dedication of ambulance crews this situation would be considerably worse.”
