Commenting on the Business Minister’s decision to decline an invitation to the Welsh Affairs Select Committee with the written line – “I will not be attending”, Shadow Minister for Business Andrew RT Davies said:
“The Respect agenda is a two-way street between Westminster and the Welsh Labour Government.
“Where’s the respect in this curt response? It’s typical of the way the way this Minister is currently doing business.
“The issue Edwina Hart should be discussing – inward investment – is absolutely crucial for Wales. Why isn’t she working with Westminster on it?
“There are a host of economic issues we still need clarity on and it’s about time this Minister got off her chair and started dealing with them.”
