Deadline day for event organisers wanting to get their event included in the Swansea Bay Summer Festival brochure is fast-approaching.
People now only have until Friday February 18 to submit their events to the Swansea Bay Summer Festival team for inclusion.
The festival runs from May to September and hundreds of events are usually included in the summer guide.
Over 100,000 copies of the 40-page brochure will be published and distributed across South Wales.
Gareth Jones, Swansea Council’s Swansea Bay Summer Festival Co-ordinator, said: “The Swansea Bay Summer Festival brochure is a useful resource for event organisers to include their events in.
“I’d urge anyone with an event in the Swansea Bay area to get in touch because the brochure is distributed to many towns along the M4 corridor and will be read by hundreds of thousands of people.
“We also offer the opportunity for people to get their event details included on a website dedicated to the festival that’s becoming more and more popular with each year that passes.”
Some of the events to have been confirmed as part of the Swansea Bay Summer Festival this year include The Wales National Airshow, outdoor theatre performances, the Admiral Swansea Bay 10k, the Urdd Eisteddfod and the National Transport Festival of Wales.
People organising events during the summer are urged to get in touch with the Swansea Bay Summer Festival team either by emailing [email protected] or calling 01792 635433.
