The next meeting of the Deeside Industrial Park Business Forum is this Thursday 26 September between 1.30pm and 3.30pm at the Days Hotel in Sealand.
Speakers will include Andrew Coe, Chief Executive of International Motor Sports Ltd, who will be providing an overview about the Wales Rally GB which takes place between 14 and 17 November 2013, with a base at Deeside for the first time; and Mark Tami MP who will be speaking about the local economy and his support for the bid to upgrade the Wrexham to Bidston rail route.
Councillor Aaron Shotton, Leader of Flintshire County Council, said:
“I am continuously impressed by the high level of speakers that the Forum attracts and I welcome Andrew Coe and Mark Tami MP to the Forum. The Council’s Regeneration team strive continuously to drive home the message that Flintshire is a very good place to do business.
“The Business Forum is just one of the many ongoing initiatives that the Council delivers, in this case, part of the European Union-supported Strategic Business Parks project.”
Chairman of the Forum, Askar Sheibani, said:
“I am delighted that, once more, we are welcoming interesting speakers to the Deeside Industrial Park Business Forum. The Forum has developed into an influential debating and lobbying body, developing a range of activities which are helping to promote Deeside as a dynamic area for business. We hope that our Forum acts as a blueprint for similar business communities through Britain who are looking to generate renewed economic and social success.”
The Strategic Business Parks Project is funded in partnership between Flintshire County Council, Wrexham County Borough Council, and the Welsh Government.
