North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at McColls Newsagents, Rhyl Road, Denbigh, on Sunday (December 5) at about 10pm.
Two males, one armed with a knife and both wearing balaclavas entered the shop, threatened staff and made off with cash and cigarettes.
DI Sian Beck said: “Fortunately the member of staff was not injured, but was clearly shaken by the incident. An immediate extensive search of the area was made and enquiries are ongoing to trace these offenders. We are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything to contact us.”
