An exhibition showcasing the work of Denbighshire and Flintshire County Council’s Countryside Services and Tourism Teams will be featured at the annual county show being held at the Green, Denbigh on Thursday, 21 August.
‘Great Days Out – Right On Your Doorstep’ will be the theme for the councils’ joint exhibition. Practical demonstrations and displays will offer advice and information on how residents and visitors can enjoy the beautiful countryside, villages, history and heritage in Flintshire and Denbighshire.
External exhibitions will feature the work of the coastal rangers using activities and displays to help all ages appreciate and understand our fantastic coastline, the construction of a dry-stone wall and techniques to help you enjoy outward bound activities.
Exhibitions in the marquee will feature a mini archaeological excavation, a museum of memories, Ruthin Gaol and information on a wealth of activities and places to visit across the two counties.
Triffordd nurseries from Flintshire will be showcasing their own grown plants, with Denbighshire based Meifod Wood Products displaying some of their garden furniture.
Visitors to the exhibition can enter a prize draw to win a hamper of locally produced food.
