Young people living in Denbighshire are urged to go online and have their say as part of the Living and Working in Denbighshire project.
The project is part of a campaign to maximise Denbighshire’s profile as an attractive place to live and work amongst young people.
The Council wants to hear from young people living in the county or those who are originally from the county but have moved away to live, study or work.
Young people’s opinions on aspects such as employment opportunities, housing, transport, leisure, service and facilities are important, as the Council will gain a strong knowledge of what young people would like to see implemented in Denbighshire.
This study is a response to the changes in demographic in the county. Denbighshire has a high percentage of older population (23%) whilst there are less young people living in the county. As a result, the Council needs to adapt its services to meet the needs of the community, as well as finding ways of retaining young people in the county through education, leisure, lifestyle, housing and training.
