Two of Denbighshire’s museums will be hosting family events for the nationwide art event, The Big Draw, this month.
On Saturday, 22 October, Plas Newydd in Llangollen will host “Marks in the Landscape”, looking at drawing the world around us, in the spectacular grounds of the home of the Ladies of Llangollen.
At Ruthin Gaol on Wednesday 26 October, “Sketching the Gaol” will look at a very different setting for art, in advance of a major exhibition on Prisoner Art next year. Both of these events are the perfect opportunity to let out your inner artist in an amazing location.
The Big Draw is an annual month-long event in association with The Campaign for Drawing, encouraging people of all ages to get out their pencils and sketch.
