Denbighshire County Council is advising all residents to set any recycling or refuse out for collection on their usual day this week as the council is looking to provide a normal service (week commencing Monday 11 January).
In addition to the normal services, the council has also deployed extra resources to collect grey and blue wheely-bins which could not be emptied last week.
Where weekly collections are provided (e.g. pink sack refuse collections and orange bin food waste recycling collections) these will be collected on the normal collection day.
Council vehicles are still encountering some difficulties in reaching areas on higher ground and where streets are on a gradient. However, further attempts at collection in these areas will be made as conditions improve.
All four recycling parks are open for residents who are able to get to them and the Saturday morning recycling service at Corwen planned for 16 January is expected to go ahead.
