Denbighshire County Council has been using social networking to inform residents and visitors about its news and views.
The council ‘tweets’ all its news stories and details of upcoming events via its Twitter account.
Twitter is free to use and you can sign up to the service simply by creating an account on Twitter’s website www.twitter.com
The council is also looking at other ways of communicating with residents and already some of its departments or projects have accounts on Facebook.
Denbighshire County Council’s twitter is available in both English @DenbighshireCC and Welsh @CyngorSDd
