A number of roads across Denbighshire are set to be resurfaced in early June, as part of a wider £6 million programme of road improvements county-wide.
The latest resurfacing works are set to begin on June 9 and the work will extend the life of many of the county’s roads .
The locations that will be resurfaced in June are:
- A543 near The Sportmans Arms, Llyn Brenig
- B5381 Glascoed to Bryn y Pin
- B5381 Lower Denbigh Road (near Eryl Hall)
- B5429 Llandyrnog Roundabout to the Creamery
- A542 Ty Newyddion to Pentre Bwlch near Llandegla
- A539 from Llangollen to Sun Trevor (Two sections)
It is anticipated that these works will be completed within five days. However the treatment is dependant on dry weather so slight changes to this programme are possible.
In July many other roads in the Llangollen, Llandyrnog and Glascoed areas will benefit from similar works and details will be made available nearer the time.
Both Denbighshire’s highways staff and the Contractor will do all they can to minimise disruption to traffic and the Council would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience these short term works may cause.
