This is the situation regarding schools in Denbighshire on Wednesday, 13 January (as at 4.30pm Tuesday).
Ysgol Pant Pastynog, Prion, is open tomorrow but the headteacher will be assessing the situation in the morning so parents with children at the school are being asked to check the website first thing.
All other schools in Denbighshire are expected to be open as normal.
School transport is expected to be running as normal.
Please note: While every effort has been made to clear footpaths and play areas of ice as much as possible, we would ask parents to please ensure that their children are safely in school when dropping them off and to take extra care while the wintry conditions last.
