A Denbighshire school has come out on top following a recent inspection of their kitchen.
Denbighshire School Meals Service is delighted that following the inspection, carried out by a member of the Environmental Health Team, Ysgol Bro Famau in Llanferres has been awarded the top score of 5 points in the Food Standards Agencies Food Hygiene Rating Scheme – ‘Scores on the Door’.
This scheme has recently been adopted by the council.
The inspection covers all aspects of the catering operation including temperature control, stock control, cleanliness of kitchen and the health and hygiene procedures put in place by the School Meals Service.
