Five sports organisations are set to benefit from the latest round of funding from the Denbighshire Community Chest.
Community Chest offers grant of up to £1,500 in any 12 month period for activities that encourage more people to become more active, more often and raises the standards of existing activities The scheme is open to any group as long as they hold a bank account in the organisation’s name.
The successful applicants for the funding, made available through Sport Wales, were:
- Llangollen Youth Football Club – Awarded £1480
- Rhyl and District Hockey Club – Awarded £1500
- Denbigh Gymnastics Club – Awarded £1500
- Llangollen Gymnastics Club – Awarded £1500
- Trefnant Junior Football Club – Awarded £1500
