Six organisations are set to benefit from funding awarded in the latest round of Denbighshire Community Chest allocations.
Community Chest offers grant of up to £1,000 in any 12 month period for activities that encourage more people to become more active, more often and raises the standards of existing activities. The scheme is open to any group as long as they hold a bank account in the organisation’s name.
The successful applicants for the funding, made available through Sport Wales, were:
- Velo Club Melyd – £1,000
- Denbigh Town Juniors FC – £1,500
- Prestatyn Pop-in – £710
- Denbigh Rugby Club – £510
- Llanferres Badminton Club – £1, 440
- Ruthin Swimming Club – £1,500
